Understanding cultural mythology is the key to understanding global cultural differences not only in our own lives but in our work-life experiences. Any organization whose make-up is designed to understand the vast differences of another's culture, is better equipped to handle a global market.
As an advisory board member of the Old Negev Research Institute (ONRI), an institute dedicated to the study of ancient Egyptian writings found in the "High Cultures" of the American Southwest, Red Hawk has spent most of his life studying the cultural mythology of ancient and modern people. His world travels have given him a unique perspective on cultural differences and how they apply in a global market.
His latest book "The Tao of an Indian," is a comparative look at cultural spirituality. It has been used in both work-life programs, leadership training for managers, supervisors and employees.

Mythology of the American Nations This is a Power Point presentation of the Gods, heroes, spirits, sacred places, rituals and ancient beliefs of the North American Indian, Inuit, Aztec, Inca, and Mayan Nations.
Each of these diverse cultures had one thing in common: the need for a mythology to explain not only the vastness and power of the cosmos and the wonders of nature, but also the mysteries of the human mind, with its desires, its fears and its capacities for good and evil, creation and destruction, and selfishness and altruism.
This mythology enabled these cultures to find meaning, balance and a sense of place in the world they inherited. |
